The Burma SEVA project is one of the best things I've done. I know that sounds like an extravagant statement, but that's how I feel; the experience with Om and Roam has shifted something fundamental in me. Read More
I have been travelling since January. My journey started in India and has taken me to Nepal and Myanmar and now New Zealand. I found Om and Roam when I was stuck; full of enthusiasm and good intentions, but without opportunities to put them into practice. On this trip I wanted to be able to make more genuine connections with people and communities through practising and teaching yoga as much as possible, but I was finding it difficult to actually do what I wanted as things kept getting in the way.
I heard the wild calling of Peru deep in my dreams. It was a stirring so sacred within me that I was almost afraid to acknowledge it. What was this special place in the Sacred Valley that called to my heart? What was I searching for that only Peru could show me? This ancient civilization, the Amazon, Shamans and cultural spiritual significance of this unique environment was beckoning me and I was ready to accept the call. Within a couple of weeks, my dear friend Katy announced her women's retreat at The Source Peru and with one look at the place - I was hooked. This was one of those moments for me. Read More
I woke up with the feeling that a new energy was ready to be present in my life. I had catapulted into a feverish pursuit to create, construct and ground my business. I'm sure many of you have been at a point of creation where the idea comes, the vision, the clarity, the collaboration, the execution - it takes tremendous effort. I spent the last 2 years birthing an idea that came from the depths of my soul when my entire world was falling apart. Or so I thought. Funny how spirit only allows you to see what you are meant to see when you are meant to see it... Read More
I started my year off with a devotion to surround myself with those that inspire me. I decided to attend my first Yoga Journal Live Conference in the fantastic city of San Francisco, CA. I was beyond excited to embark on an adventure to explore yoga by eminent teachers and meet great people. I signed up for several teachers that I have wanted to learn from since I began yoga in the 90's -including the Goddess herself -Shiva Rea. I also signed up for talents like Rusty Wells, Kathy Budig, Giselle Mari and the infamous Dharma Mittra. The experience was unbelievable on so many levels; physically, mentally, emotionally and of course spiritually... Read More

The Big Island of Hawaii - is on my list as “one of the top spiritual places on the planet.” This island has more mana (power), beauty, healing and transformative energy that makes other locations wish they were this delicious. It just makes your soul sing. It’s yummy in every direction from the gorgeous blue teal ocean; clean fresh salty air that shares sweet flower fragrances; to towering palm trees and flowing volcanic lava flows... Read More
